Welcome

The Hope Center is a local non-profit in the Pensacola area - specifically in the community of Brownsville, striving to restore Hope and provide assistance for spirit, soul & body. We long to see individuals become all that God intended them to be!


We began in 1999 during the great Brownsville Revival - the largest and longest running revival in U.S. history. The church desired to launch a benevolent organization to impact the community of Brownsville and instill hope into a hurting neighborhood.

Programs

The Hope Center has had many different programs and venues over the years. During 2006-2010 The Hope Center was located in a building on Cervantes to offer counseling and assistance to those entering its doors. From 2010-2015 The Hope Center operated in the now "Brownsville Community Center" - a 36,000 square foot facility owned by the church. The programs of The Hope Center were impactful and varied, such as:

• Youth Basketball & Flag Football (at no cost)

• Little Tykes Daycare

• Computer Training Classes

• Food Stamp Assistance

• Clothing Closet

• Resumé and Job Interview Counseling


The Community Center programs were then conveyed to Escambia County when they purchased the facility - they have since continued the community programs. 


The Hope Center has since developed benevolent outreaches into the neighborhood - all of which continue to this day.
